31 Faces of Fear: Aleister Black
For the month of October, we are going to run through some of our favorite wrestlers that inspire fear in their competitors and fans alike.
Tom Budgen is no stranger to those who keep up with indy wrestling at all, though he’s more commonly known as Tommy End. The 15 year veteran made his NXT debut with WWE at TakeOver: Orlando during Wrestlemania weekend this year, and he hasn’t looked back. While most of his matches have been squashes, he did face two challenges from newcomers Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly in their debuts, but has remained undefeated. While it may have flown under the radar, Black also debuted on a main roster show, contributing a loss to the ongoing record of Curt Hawkins (who is just a trooper) on an episode of Main Event. He could easily be in the NXT title picture, or feuding with the Undisputed Era, but I think he’s on the fast track for the main roster, and that’s why they’re just sort of biding their time with him on the “Developmental” brand. Black Mass is one hell of a spin kick finisher, and his entrance is just bad ass. If you’re interested in seeing some damn fine wrestling, check some of Tommy End’s material on YouTube, you know, if you want to see more than just a spin kick and pinfall.
